من‌ زنم‌ كه‌ ديگر بيدار گشته‌ ام
از خاكستر اجساد سوخته‌ي‌ كودكانم‌ برخاستم‌ و توفان‌ گشته‌ام
از جويبار خون‌ برادرانم‌ سر بلند كرده‌ ام
از توفان‌ خشم‌ ملتم‌ نيرو گرفته‌ ام
از ديوارها و دهكده‌هاي‌ سوخته‌ كشورم‌ نفرت‌ به‌ دشمن‌ برداشته‌ام
حالا دگر مرا زار و ناتوان‌ مپندارهموطن،

من‌ درهاي‌ بسته‌ي‌ بي‌خبري‌ ها را گشوده‌ام
من‌ از همه‌ چوري‌ هاي‌ زر وداع‌ كرده‌ام

هموطن‌ واي‌ برادر، ديگر آن‌ نيستم‌ كه‌ بودم
من‌ زنم‌ كه‌ ديگر بيدار گشته‌ ام

با نگاه‌ تيز بينم‌ همه‌ چيز را در شب‌ سياه‌ كشورم‌ ديده‌ام
فرياد هاي‌ نيمه‌ شبي‌ مادران‌ بي‌فرزند در گوشهايم‌ غوغا كرده‌ اند
من‌ كودكان‌ پا برهنه‌، آواره‌ و بي‌لانه‌ را ديده‌ام
من‌ عروساني‌ را ديده‌ام‌ كه‌ با دستان‌ حنا بسته،
لباس‌ سياه‌ بيوگي‌ بر‌ تن‌ نموده‌اند
من‌ ديوار هاي‌ قد كشيده‌ي‌ زندان‌ ها را ديده‌ام
كه‌ آزادي‌ را در شكم‌ هاي‌ گرسنه‌ي‌ خود بلعيده‌ اند
من‌ در ميان‌ مقاومت‌ ها، دليري‌ ها و حماسه‌ ها دوباره‌ زاده‌ شدم
من‌ در آخرين‌ نفس‌ ها در ميان‌ امواج‌ خون‌ و در فتح‌ و پيروزي
سرود آزادي‌ را آموخته‌ام
حالا ديگر مرا زار و ناتوان‌ مپندار
هموطن‌ واي‌ برادر،
من‌ در كنار تو و با تو در راه‌ نجات‌ وطنم‌ همنوا و همصدا گشته‌ام
صدايم‌ با فرياد هزاران‌ زن‌ برپا گشته‌ پيوند خورده‌ است
مشتم‌ با مشت‌ هزاران‌ هموطنم‌ گره‌ خورده‌ است
من‌ در كنار تو و در راه‌ ملتم‌ قدم‌ گذاشته‌ام
تا يكجا بشكنيم‌ اين همه‌ رنج‌ زندگي‌ و همه‌ بند بندگي
